Facts on File Database Update

Welcome to the October 2008 edition of our monthly Facts On File News Services bulletin. Below you will find information about our most recent content additions and links to other useful materials found in your authorized database(s).
Finding Citation Information: All Facts On File News Services databases have recently upgraded their capabilities to display citation information. This allows users to document their research in the databases efficiently and conveniently, and makes it easy for educators to identify students' sources. Most types of content in the Facts On File News Services databases now automatically display full citation information in the Modern Language Association (MLA) style on all article pages, printable versions, and emailed versions. Content pages also give templates for preparing citations in the American Psychological Association (APA) format.Citation information displays at the bottom of article pages and printable pages, and at the top of emailed articles. A valuable source of background information on citations for students and educators is the Citing Sources guide, located in the Curriculum Tools for Students section of each database. These documents also explain the procedures for citing special types of content in the databases and filling in the APA citation templates supplied.
