Resource of the Month - Buffalo News

Buffalo News

Don’t have a Buffalo News subscription?
Trying to keep your budget in line in this tight economy?
Tired of all of that pesky newsprint on your fingers?
Interested in current events or Buffalo history?
Looking for information about the Bills, Byron Brown, or the Buffalo Zoo?

The Library’s database subscription to the Buffalo News contains full text articles from 1989 to the present. There are two ways to search this database. Type in a few search terms, or browse by date and then section to read an issue “cover to cover.”

With this database, you can:

Research a local topic or issue.
Locate current and historical information on local companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, places, organizations, and the people in the community.
Locate an article you remember reading.
Locate an obituary.

So, bring new meaning to reading the news with a cup of coffee in the morning. Give your computer or laptop a try, or come into any Library location for the print or electronic version of the Buffalo News.

For use at any library or from home with a valid Buffalo & Erie County Public Library card number.
